How do your aromatherapy scholarships work?

We have four options for our sliding fee aromatherapy scholarship:

  • Pay in full
  • Pay at 75% (we will fund 25%)
  • Pay at 65% (we will fund 35%)
  • Pay at 55% (we will fund 45%).

We will assess each student on their ability to pay for their chosen course through the completion of a simple form pre-enrollment (see below to apply).  We will primarily look at total household income (and compare against a sliding fee scale we have established) and your completed statement of intent. We may also look at other information and take into consideration extenuating circumstances from time to time. This helps is to establish where scholarships are needed most. These applications are completed, and accepted, on the honor system.

How to apply for a scholarship

  1. Complete the community scholarship form here and submit it to us (follow the instructions in the form).
  2. We will review your application and usually get back to you within 3 – 5 business days.
  3. If you are accepted for a scholarship, we will indicate which rate you have been accepted at and give you instructions to purchase the course at that rate.

If you are accepted for a scholarship, you can also choose to pay by payment plan, meaning that you can pay a small deposit to start the course, and then pay off the balance over an agreed period of time. Payment plans incur a small convenience fee for the convenience of paying over a period of time. Please note that all payment plans must be paid in full before completion of any final assessment.

Note that you don’t physically receive any cash or other forms of payment for the aromatherapy scholarship; it is given in the form of credit against the full purchase price of the course.

What do your aromatherapy scholarships cover?

Take note of any other expenses you might incur in order to complete your aromatherapy course. For example, additional books required, and supplies to make products and blends. The community aromatherapy scholarship only covers course workbooks and one-on-one tuition and mentoring by Sharon Falsetto, including final assessments and exams, where appropriate.

Make sure that you understand the total costs to complete an aromatherapy course such as this, before committing to enrollment in our school.

A Low Profit Initiative for Aromatherapy and Botanical Education

Sedona Aromatics is not a non-profit business. We aim to make enough profit to cover our expenses, pay a fair wage to anyone hired to help complete a project or service on behalf of Sedona Aromatics, and move our business and school forward for the ultimate benefits of our students and clients. We are offering community aromatherapy scholarships as part of our vision and mission statement goals which you can find more information on the About pages of our website.

Our goal is to bring the highest standard of aromatherapy education to the aromatherapy community at the lowest cost we can do so, helping to empower a future generation in plant and health education.

Community Scholarships are our commitment to contributing to making aromatherapy education more accessible to lower-income groups or for those with other extenuating circumstances. We do not discriminate against any color, gender, race, or anyone or anything else.

Our students are from a diverse background but they all have one thing in common – a love for aromatherapy! Will you join us?
