Community Aromatherapy Scholarships
Community aromatherapy scholarships offered by Sedona Aromatics help towards the cost of aromatherapy course fees for our certification courses.
Do you want to take an aromatherapy certification course, but the cost is too high? We may have the answer for you! Our community aromatherapy scholarships help students reduce the cost of their course tuition and you have the option to pay the remaining balance over a period of time. Read on to learn more!
What Do CommunityAromatherapy Scholarships Cover?
Our aromatherapy scholarships cover the tuition fees for either the Certificate in Holistic Aromatherapy course or the Certificate in Professional Aromatherapy course. Both courses are 100% online so you will have exclusive one-on-one mentoring with our founder Sharon Falsetto, usually by email, although private sessions via Zoom or phone can be arranged for additional fees.
You will still need to cover the cost of books required for the completion of your course, supplies, and essential oils. If you are not sure of the total cost of completing your aromatherapy training, please ask before applying for a scholarship and enrolling in our school.
Aromatherapy scholarships are given in the form of credit against the full purchase price of the course.
How Much Help Can I Get Towards the Cost of my Aromatherapy Course Fees?
We have the full list of options that we cover for our communitye scholarships on this information page but basically, we may fund between 45% and 25% of the full cost of the course.
How Do I Apply for Help with my Aromatherapy Course Fees?
You will need to complete an application form for a scholarship which can be found here. In short, we will ask:
- Your total household income.
- Completion of a Statement of Intent.*
*Statement of Intent: This is a short (minimum of two paragraphs) statement on why you are applying for the scholarship and what you intend to do with your aromatherapy certification on completion of the course, either for home use, or use in the wider aromatherapy community.
Payment Plans for Community Aromatherapy Scholarships
You’ve been accepted for an aromatherapy scholarship. Well done! You’ll now need to pay the balance due on your course. You can choose to pay this in full, or by using the payment plan that we offer. Pay a small deposit and spread the remaining balance over a period of up to six months. We will send you information on how to do this once you’ve been notified of your acceptance for a scholarship.
Why do You Offer Aromatherapy Scholarships?
Our founder, Sharon Falsetto, believes that aromatherapy education should be as accessible to as many people as possible. Traditionally, aromatherapy classes and courses have cost thousands of dollars, and are subsequently out of the reach of many.
Events during 2020 inspired us to make aromatherapy accessible to more, especially at a time when we need to empower ourselves to take care of our own health and well-being more.
Although we cannot offer our aromatherapy courses for free, we have tried to make them more accessible through scholarships, payment plans, and offering 100% online education through a variety of mediums (more on that coming soon). It is our commitment to contributing to making aromatherapy education more accessible to lower-income groups or for those with other extenuating circumstances. We do not discriminate against any color, gender, race, or anything else.
Our students are from a diverse background but they all have one thing in common – a love for aromatherapy! Will you join us?
Be inspired. Be motivated. And be empowered!
We are a NAHA Approved School Educator and a NAHA Approved Continuing Education Provider.
