No, the program is designed so that someone new to natural perfumery can build the foundational knowledge needed to move forward confidently.
If you already have aromatherapy training, you’ll be able to deepen your understanding of botanical materials specifically through the lens of perfumery, formulation, sourcing, sustainability, and fragrance creation.
The program is not designed to duplicate a general aromatherapy certification.
Instead, it focuses much more specifically on botanical fragrance materials and how that existing plant knowledge can be applied to natural perfumery.
Because aromatherapy programs vary significantly, you may revisit certain concepts—but you’ll be applying them to natural perfumery.
The goal is to help you move from aromatherapy knowledge to perfume creation and business development.
That’s completely fine.
You do not need an existing business to enroll.
The program is designed to help you begin thinking like both a perfumer and a founder so that you can develop your fragrances while also considering how they might eventually become part of a viable business.
Natural perfume can become an additional product category and revenue stream that complements the work you’re already doing.
Rather than starting an entirely unrelated business, you can explore ways to integrate botanical fragrance into your existing brand—or create a distinctive fragrance line alongside it.
The program is online and on demand, allowing you to work through it around your existing schedule within the allotted access period which is 24 months. It is also self-paced. You can complete it within a timeframe that works for you, as long as it’s completed within the 24 months timeframe. However, we understand that life happens, and, if it does, you can apply for a one-time extension of 6 months for a nominal fee.
