Sedona Aromatherapie End of Year Review 2012 by Sharon Falsetto, istockphoto, used with permission

I can’t believe that its been  six months since I wrote the Sedona Aromatherapie Half Year Review 2012! However, a lot has happened in those six months, and Sedona Aromatherapie is moving forward into 2013 with new projects, new students and new customers. Before I summarize what has been happening in the last six months, I would like to take a minute to say a very big THANK YOU to all my students and customers who make my work possible. You are the reason I do what I do – and continue to do it!

Aromatherapy Study Trip to France

Without a doubt, the highlight of the year, was my aromatherapy study trip to France where I got to study the distillation of plants close up – and make new friends in the process! My stay was in old monastery in St Croix, which also gave me the time to reflect and draw up new energy to make plans to share and educate others on not only what I had learned on this trip – but on my experiences of running my own aromatherapy business over the past few years.

Aromatherapy Courses in Product Making

I have been working hard on writing and producing several new aromatherapy courses in making aromatherapy since my return from France, including the Basic Butters, Balms, Creams and Lotions Course and the Natural Perfumes with Essential Oils Course. As I write this blog post, I am working on yet another product making course which will be released soon.

Aromatherapy Courses on Plants

I have also been working on building up the short aromatherapy specialist subject courses on particular plant species used in aromatherapy; current courses include Lavender Aromatherapy and Sage Aromatherapy. More courses in this area will follow beyond 2013.

Aromatherapy E-Books

I have also started to introduce short aromatherapy recipe e-books for those who want to dip their toes into the world of aromatherapy product but are either unsure of commitment to a more extensive course or are restricted by budget issues. These short e-books are excellent value for money – and are written by a certified and qualified aromatherapist!

Custom Aromatherapy Blends

One of my biggest sellers at Sedona Aromatherapie is custom aromatherapy blends; customers might request a single specific blend for a particular problem, a specific scent or a bulk order of custom orders for their therapist practice or spa. Brides can also have custom aromatherapy wedding favors made for their wedding. Whatever your request or desire, I will work with you to create your specific product from start to finish!

Professional Writing Services for Aromatherapy Businesses

As a professional writer, you will find many examples of my work in the aromatherapy world. However, I also offer ghost writing services for aromatherapy businesses and therapists, providing quality content for their websites and blogs. I completed some of this work for clients in 2012. If you are interested in this service, visit my writing page to learn more.

My Work with NAHA

In addition to running my own aromatherapy business, I also serve on the Board of the National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) as Secretary helping to promote the practice of true aromatherapy. I am happy to confirm that I will continue to serve as Secretary for the next term, 2013 – 2015. In addition, if you live in Arizona, I am your local point of contact as the the Regional Director for Arizona. If you want to find out more about becoming a member of NAHA, please contact me for details or visit the website!

Aromatherapy in 2013

In 2013, I plan to move forward with a couple of aromatherapy projects which are already in the planning stages. In the meantime, all that remains to be said in this post is – I hope that you will enjoy a joyful, peaceful and prosperous season and see you in 2013!
