As I write this post, I can’t believe that 2013 is now almost over! Its been a busy year here at Sedona Aromatherapie, one filled with ups and downs, like many small businesses. Yet, I am grateful for the opportunity to work in a business where I get to interact with so many different types of people. Both students and customers never fail to inspire me or impress me with their own knowledge, enthusiasm and vision – and I feel honored to help them in some small way to achieve their goals.

This post summarizes the achievements and progress of Sedona Aromatherapie in the second half of 2013.

#1: I Wrote a Book

In June’s Half Year Review post, I wrote about my journey in writing my first book. That book is now complete and scheduled for publication in January 2014. More details on the book, Authentic Aromatherapy, can be found by visiting the designated web page on the Sedona Aromatherapie website or in this earlier blog post – or subscribe to the Sedona Aromatherapie newsletter to be the first to know when it is available!

Authentic Aromatherapy is published by Skyhorse Publishing and is already available for pre-order from Amazon.

#2 Certification in Professional Aromatherapy Course

This long term goal of mine has certainly been a work-in-progress this year! The course is probably twice the length I originally anticipated with lots of information about essential oils, aromatherapy practice, setting up your own aromatherapy business, insights from my own UK/US experiences and much more. My intent is to make the course as practical and budget friendly as possible – yet still offer a quality course.

More information on the Certification in Professional Aromatherapy Course is available by visiting this designated web page on the Sedona Aromatherapie website. I anticipate it will be ready for home study sometime in Spring 2014.

#3 Aromatherapy Home Study Course Program

The Sedona Aromatherapie Aromatherapy Home Study Course Program continued to grow during the second half of 2013, with more students signing up for the various courses on offer. Home study is not easy – and not for everyone – but it allows many more people to study a specific course that they may not otherwise be able to do, either due to budget or time constraints. In addition, I offer full support for all of my home study courses – and build relationships with many interesting people!

So, THANK YOU, to everyone who took a Sedona Aromatherapie home study course in 2013! And congratulations to each and every student who successfully completed a course and achieved their goal!

#4 Sedona Aromatherapie Custom Blends

The custom blending service I offer has increased in the past year and the challenges of various projects has kept me busy throughout the year. I will continue to offer this service as long as there is a demand for it – and intend to keep increasing my own skills in this area in order to better serve my customers.

If you are interested in the custom blending services offered by Sedona Aromatherapie, please visit the designated web page on the Sedona Aromatherapie website.

Finally, all there is left for me to say is THANK YOU to each and every person I have had the pleasure of meeting, working with, communicating with, or providing a service to in the past year. 2013 has been challenging for me on a personal level but I have felt the support from students, customers and friends to continue doing what I do – in order to serve you better. I have more plans for 2014 but, in the meantime, I wish you a happy, healthy and safe Holiday season!

I look forward to seeing you again – or having the pleasure of working with you for the first time – in 2014!
