Learn to Make Your Own Aromatherapy Products
I initially came up with the idea of adding some basic Make-Your-Own Products Kits to the webstore last year when I was looking for economical, yet credible, ways to introduce beginners to making their own aromatherapy products.
The four basic kits that I introduced were
- the Aromatherapy Lip Balm Making Kit
- the Aromatherapy Body Butter Making Kit
- the Basic Scrubs and Bath Salts Making Kit
- the Votive Candle Making Kit.
Each of these basic kits are priced at $24.95 each (plus shipping) and include all of the necessary ingredients to make some basic aromatherapy products with ingredients such as cocoa butter, shea butter, almond oil, Epsom salts and, in the case of candles, soy wax. The kits also include written instructions by me with advice on how to add essential oils to the recipes provided, based on my own experiences and training as a certified aromatherapist.

However, these initial body products making kits didn’t include any essential oils so recently I came up with some further Make-Your-Own Products Kits that included a little bit more in the way of recipes, ingredients and advice. The new Make-Your-Own Products kits include:
- Lavender Aromatherapy
- Chocolate Aromatherapy
- Foot Aromatherapy
- Hair Aromatherapy.
Each of these kits vary in price (from $21.95 – $69.95 plus shipping), depending on the difficulty involved in making the products in the kit and the quantity of ingredients. However, each kit includes a checklist on using essential oils safely so that, even if you have no experience of using essential oils, you will know how and when to use each oil safely.
A Fun Way to Make Your Own Natural Beauty Products
The idea behind the Make-Your-Own Products Kits is that you essentially have your own mini aromatherapy class with instructions and ingredients, which allows you to experiment in the art of making aromatherapy products with minimal instruction and expense. However, because I have experience in making aromatherapy products, you can be sure that the advice given in the kits is quality material. If you enjoy making the products contained in the kits, you then have the choice to go and take a more comprehensive aromatherapy class or course, either for personal or professional interest.
I am hoping to eventually convert some of these Make-Your-Own Products Kits into live classes at various locations and dates, with the added benefit of one-on-one instruction from a professional aromatherapist and more comprehensive notes.
