The Potions from the Aromatic Garden workshop is an advanced blending techniques workshop for aromatherapists, herbalists, and other product makers who have some experience of blending with essential oils, carrier oils, hydrosols, and other aromatic extractions from the garden.
Length of The Potions from the Aromatic Garden Workshop
The workshop is two days in length. It takes place over a Friday and Saturday, so that you can spend a long weekend in Sedona!
Location of the The Potions from the Aromatic Garden Workshop
The Potions from the Aromatic Garden workshop is located on a private one acre original homestead property, situated approximately five minutes outside of Sedona (West). We have a garden studio (where aromatic blends are created) and a botanical workroom where classes are usually held, and where our working still is situated. Our aromatic garden surrounds the building structures (including our home). You will be free to investigate our plants (depending upon season) as well!
We are at the end of a private dirt road (accessible by all types of vehicles) in the quiet countryside of “original” Sedona surroundings. Full directions will be provided with your information sheet, approximately one month before the workshop. We value the privacy and quiet of our surroundings, so be mindful of your interaction with residents and nature when visiting us.
Learn new ways to enhance your aromatherapy blends with the use of essential oils, carrier oils, and other aromatic extractions. Hands-on experience with plants from the garden to understand essential oil extraction, followed by in-depth profiles on individual plants/oils, and various methods of blending. This is a plant/oil based blending class (not chemistry based), utilizing Sharon’s training and practice of aromatherapy over the years, to bring you a custom made blending workshop. We will make at least two aromatherapy blends in class, based on the techniques described. You will receive a custom workbook and a box of aromatic treats to take home!
Refreshments and lunch are provided due to our more remote location. The workshop also includes a custom workbook and all materials required to make the products in class.
Continuing Education (CE Credits)
Continuing education (CE) credits are available to meet National Association for Holistic Aromatherapy (NAHA) CE requirements and the Aromatherapy Registration Council (ARC) CE requirements (12 hours for each workshop).
