It’s a been a couple of months since we had a giveaway on the Sedona Aromatherapie blog, but Tazeka Aromatherapy were recently kind enough to send me a sample of their aromatherapy blends for both review and giveaway!
If you are in need of a specific aromatherapy blend for a particular problem, read on to learn how you can win a sample of your chosen Tazeka Aromatherapy blend!
About Tazeka Aromatherapy
Tazeka Aromatherapy was founded by certified aromatherapist Zena Hallam. Zena has an international background in natural therapies and in her pursuit of aromatherapy certification. She grew up in South America and learned from her mother about the power of herbal medicine. Eventually, Zena turned her attention specifically to essential oils and undertook aromatherapy training in England, France, and the United States.
About Tazeka Aromatherapy Blends
Zena has created an authentic, yet modern, line of aromatherapy blends, infused with the knowledge of science, her spirit, and her unique style.
Presentation: When I received the package of aromatherapy blends to sample, the first thing I noticed was the stylish packaging detailing the contents and use of each blend. I opened the box to find a sleek, slender, roll-on, encased in a protective, colorful, outer case – small enough to fit into my purse or pocket, so that I would always have an appropriate aromatherapy blend to hand.
The packaging of each blend is labeled with the name of the aromatherapy blend and a simple “mantra;” for example, the Concentrate blend is “Focus and Achieve.” In addition, each aromatherapy blend is a different color so, over time, you will come to recognize your favorite blend!
Favorite Part About the Presentation: The blend resembles a favorite cosmetic product (such as a lipstick), so you don’t have to feel self-conscious about applying the blend in public. In addition, I love the steel roller-ball applicator which helps the blend glide on with ease!
Content: Perhaps the most important part of the aromatherapy blend is its contents! Each aromatherapy blend has a base of jojoba (Simmondsia chinensis), with five (or more) essential oils added. As an aromatherapist, I can appreciate why each essential oil was chosen for a particular blend, and its perceived effects. This is not just a showy product! It is the “real deal” as far as aromatherapy is concerned!
Favorite Blend: Travel Companion; an aromatherapy blend of essential oils of sweet orange(Citrus sinensis), cardamon (Elettaria cardamomum), ginger (Zingiber officinale), coriander (Coriandrum sativum), and cornmint (Mentha arvensis) in a jojoba base. This blend helped to ease my nausea on a recent car trip, and the aroma of cardamon quickly became a favorite!

I would love to try the Ares blend, it sounds like something I need!
I would choose Ares, but because it’s the only blend they have with ylang ylang, which I’m experimenting with right now to help reduce frustration and anger. It contains a few oils I know are “good” for me (cedarwood and bergamot)… and would love to see the effects of their particular combination!
I chose “Meditation Guru” because it seems to offer just what I would love to experience more of. Serenity, centering of mind and expanding of awareness. Besides it has two of my favorite oils! Lovely blends offered. It was difficult to choose just one. The containers are beautiful colors as well.
I forgot to mention the reason I did not choose a blend that would help my 21 year old son is because I didn’t find the one for mood swings would be as helpful as a blend specific to anger and agitation in Bipolar I which through my research includes some exotic oils such as Champa Absolute and A Zerumbet to name a few.
I would love to try Slim Solution. For a few reasons I need to lose 55lbs. My son is Bipolar I manic all the time explosive at the drop of a pin several times a day. In January I became deaf all of a sudden and am now on social security disability. My weight during this year has risen by 40 lbs due to the stress and starchy way we have to eat now. I am a nurse and currently just completed certification in aromatherapy But as you know essential oils are pricey and something we can’t afford right now. I would be most grateful to give Slim Solution a try! Love love love the packaging and jojoba carrier!
Headache Helper.I chose this blend to help with Carpal Tunnel Syndrome. I do suffer from the occasional headaches, thanks to menopause.I personally think since this blend will help with headaches, it should help me with the nerve pain associated with Carpal Tunnel.
Carpal Tunnel is new to me. Discovered I suffer from it a week ago. A change in my anti depressant and I no longer have the “nerve pain supression” that Cymbalta offered. A change in medication was required, I had been on Cymbalta for 5 years and it was no longer effective as a anti depressant.
I have order two different braces for my hand & I see my doctor is 2 weeks. I would love to try this instead of over the counter pain ointments. You don’t really know what is in those.
Thank you for this opportunity.
I would like the Non Stop Thoughts. With the stress of long hours working and trying to be there for my clients and family and studying it is hard to quiet my mind at night.
I think I would love to try the Aphrodite. Sometimes the stresses of daily life can really interfere in the romance department and a blend that could boost interest would be wonderful!
I would love the headache helper. I get migraines so often and it really hampers my daily living because they are so bad. Plus the container is really cute!
